PAIN IS FUZZY

People tell you, you look so good, so pretty, as if it would pain them to grant you the story of your life.  Or if they don’t deflect, the pain will pop back and stick to them.  You grant from their perspective everything looks good.  You’re well dressed, out of the house.  You’re here at the park, pretending to have a normal life, fun. But come in closer, see the charade drops, the pain is breaking you down into smaller and smaller pieces.

pass the umbrella
the sun is intense, a tan
makes everything worse
